Decode packs new slate for Mipcom

Canadian kids firm Decode Entertainment is hitting Mipcom with a new slate of shows including its own coproductions, as well as third-party product.

On the live-action front, Decode will bring Turner Broadcasting/Kindle Entertainment’s My Spy Family to market for the first time. This is the first non-Canadian series that Decode has picked up and strengthens the company’s portfolio of live-action comedy, which also includes Latest Buzz, which has been commissioned for a second season by Family Channel.

Animated shows includes Clang Invasion, a copro with Singapore’s Scrawl Studios and Hong Kong’s Agogo; Halifax Film’s preschool series Bo on the Go!; CGI series Urban Vermin; and the much-anticipated Decode/Aardman copro Chop Socky Chooks.

Neil Court, president of Decode Enterprises, said: “We have a strong line-up for this market with some stand-out programming in both animation and live-action. We’re delighted to be launching Turner Broadcasting’s My Spy Family, which we feel has significant international appeal and is a fantastic fit for our live-action portfolio alongside Latest Buzz.”
