Inspirational and transformational stories united through sport. Sport is the world’s most popular leisure pursuit, quite apart from major competitions and international leagues. But sport is also much more: It has the ability to connect and inspire people regardless of their age, social status and background. The Power of Sports observes those who seek passion, concentration, team spirit, competition and recognition through sport – people who have succumbed to its fascination. These new films bring the total to 38 episodes.

A team of Finnish elite coaches helps them take on the challenge. The boss at Miami’s Magic City Casino is trying to revive the once-celebrated sport of jai alai. He’s assembled a team of enthusiastic former university athletes – all newcomers to this ultra-fast ball sport. After just six months of training, a shaky start to the season eventually ushers in a series of thrilling matches for substantial prize money.
