Ex-Sony Pictures TV president Jeff Frost unveils Bristol Circle prodco

Jeff Frost is launching US-based scripted prodco Bristol Circle Entertainment, having departed as president of Sony Pictures Television earlier this year.

Jeff Frost

Frost, who joined SPT in 2008 as executive VP of US business affairs, was elevated to president of the studio in 2017 after outgoing TV presidents Zack Van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht left for Apple.

He departed earlier this month with Charter Communications’ exec Katherine Pope tapped to replace him.

Frost has quickly resurfaced atop Bristol Circle Entertainment, which comes with a first-look deal at his former employer.

Fellow Sony alum Roosevelt Brown is along for the ride as development executive and Fox will exec produce Apple TV+’s recently announced untitled Vince Gilligan project as his first series at the new shingle.

Frost’s Sony credits included Prime Video’s The Boys, Hulu’s Woke and Netflix’s The Night Agent.
